Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection screen which is so constituted that the optical coincident accuracy of the lens units of both surfaces is satisfactory and gaps are not formed between the adjacent lens units and the characteristics of these is drastically superior. SOLUTION: This projection screen is constituted such that many plastic based strands 10 are arranged in parallel. The respective strands 10 are provided with a transmitting main body part 11 and a light absorbing part 13 arranged along in a longitudinal direction, by being brought into contact with both observation-side surfaces of the main body part 11. The adjacent strands 10 are integrated as a sheet by jointing the mutual absorbing parts 13 by a fusion part 14. The strand 10 is provided with an auxiliary part 12 having different refractive index from that of the main body part 11, only at the observation-side surface part of the main body part 11. The auxiliary parts 12 are arranged along the surface of the sheet.
