Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which is compact, is hardly damaged and constituted so that accessory parts are easily attached. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal projector is so constituted that a lens cover 21 covering and protecting a projection lens 20 is provided with a curved surface and an upper case and a lower case 1 are provided with a recessed groove 1p whose curvature is identical to the curved surface. Moreover, the cover 21 is arranged on the inside of the upper case and the case 1 so that it can be slid. By providing on the light-emitting side of the lens 20 a lens fixing plate 23 having a window part formed, such that the path of a light beam emitted from the lens 20 is not obstructed, the anamorphic lens, the inversion mirror and the like can be easily attached and detached through one-operation action.
