Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely capture rust irrespective of sizes thereof so as to eliminate the rust from a pipeline, prevent any pressure losses and facilitate maintenance. SOLUTION: A rust removing device is constructed in such a manner that a cylindrical electromagnet 1 is composed of a cylindrical iron core 1A and an electromagnetic coil 1B wound in the outer periphery of the cylindrical iron core 1A, and the cylindrical electromagnet 1 is covered with a pipe body 2 made of a non-magnetic material such as fiber reinforced plastic(FRP) or a polyethylene resin. In both end sides of the pipe body 2 in the axial direction, passage switching valves 3A and 3B having three-way valves are arranged via connecting flanges 2A, 2B, 3a and 3b. By exciting the cylindrical electromagnet 1 in the flowing state of fluids, rust generated in an upstream domain is attracted on the inner surface of the pipe body 2 to be captured. The captured rust is mixed in the fluids by the switching operation of the passage switching valves 3A and 3B and the demagnetization of the electromagnet 1, and discharged. |
