Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain superabsorbing polymers capable of avoiding the gel blocking, achieving an improvement in the initial transport rate and improved in absorptivity under a load and transport rate under the load by crosslinking the surface of a superabsorbing polymer particle and simultaneously fixing silica in the crosslinked surface structure. SOLUTION: This material is superabsorbing polymers comprising a(n) (un) crosslinked fine polyacrylonitrile emulsion and is obtained by modifying the surface of a polymeric particle by crosslinking and simultaneously fixing silica in the crosslinked surface structure. The surface treatment is preferably carried out by using formaldehyde as a crosslinking agent at 0.03-0.6 wt.% concentration, silica at 0.05-0.8 wt.% concentration and water at 0.5-8 wt.% concentration respectively based on water absorbing polymers. The silica preferably has 10-50 nm particle size and the water is preferably used as a mixture with ethanol or methanol. The modified polymeric particle is preferably dried at 80-100 deg.C. |
