Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively utilizing a boron-containing sludge derived from sewage treatment. SOLUTION: Sewage such as seepage water containing boron is subjected to sewage treatment comprising at least an organism treatment, a solidified precipitation treatment, a filtration treatment and an activated carbon treatment for removing contaminants such as an organic substance, a heavy metal, etc., and an ion exchange resin treatment for removing remaining boron. An ion exchange resin is regenerated by hydrochloric acid 20 and caustic soda 21, the regenerated waste liquor 22 is subjected to solidified precipitation treatment, flocculated and settled boron-containing sludge 23 is dehydrated, the dehydrated sludge 25 is mixed with a binder 29, formed into a proper size and dried to give the objective exterminate against sanitary insect pests containing boron as an active ingredient.
