Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a device with a cost reduced, quickly extend toward the downward, and effectively protect a belly part of an occupant, by annularly sewing the mating free ends of a belt-shaped part extended to both sides from a relatively opposed part in the periphery of an opening part, in the forward of an inflator head part, and forming an inner cloth changing a flow of inflator gas. SOLUTION: An air bag is formed by sewing peripheral edge parts of an inflator side fabric 1 and an occupant side fabric 2 together. Two belt-shaped parts 6 having width of a diameter or more of an inflator head part 3a are integrally extended in the diametric direction from a peripheral edge part of a reinforcing fabric 5 in the periphery of an opening part. These belt-shaped parts 6 are sewn so as to form an annular shaped by sewing in the forward of the inflator head part 3a to provide an inner cloth 7 changing a flow of inflator gas G. This inner cloth 7 is opened in the vertical direction, the inflator gas G flows in the vertical direction after deflection. In this way, by starting inflation from an upper/lower peripheral parts, the bag is inflated quickly in the vertical direction, and a belly part of an occupant can be effectively protected.
