PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce total communication cost by judging the protocol of an opposite terminal when a call arrives from an opposite terminal, denying an incoming call from the opposite terminal when the protocol of a line use rate cheaper than the protocol of the opposite terminal exists and calling the protocol of the most inexpensive line use rate. SOLUTION: In this portable communication terminal equipment 1, radio parts 1 and 2-n correspond to radio carriers A and B-X and correspond to protocol processing parts 1 and 2-n, and a man/machine I/F processing part 2 controls them. When a call from the opposite terminal is received, a radio carrier selection processing part 3 checks the presence or absence of a radio carrier whose communication use rate is more inexpensive than the received radio carrier by using a call rate judgment part 4. When it exists, the selection processing part 3 denies the incoming call and selects the radio carrier whose communication use rate is the most inexpensive based on the call place and the call time band of an opposite party so as to make the call. Thus, the call rate can be reduced by using the different radio carrier which can be used.
