Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring guide holding device preventing a spring from buckling during spring compression when a cope moves toward a drag in a stamping operation. SOLUTION: A spring guide holding device 28 is provided with a spring guide housing 32 for holding a position of a spring 10, a spring guide holder 34 fixed to a cope so as to urge a linear arrangement of the spring, and a spring guide pin 30 for keeping the linear arrangement of the spring. A screw connected to the spring guide pin 30 can be accepted in a pocket (inner diameter) of the spring guide housing 32, and fixes the spring guide pin 30 and the spring guide housing 32 to a pad 14.
