Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unglazed coated paper that has a low white paper gloss and high printing gloss and shows sufficiently its characteristics even when the coated layer is formed with a lowered application weight. SOLUTION: As pigments, are used 5-30 wt.% of precipitated calcium carbonate light having fusiform, or cubic crystals, 5-30 wt.% of precipitated calcium carbonate heavy, and 40-90 wt.% of delaminated kaolin to form coating layers on the paper thereby giving the unglazed coated paper of 15-45% of white paper gloss and >=45% printing glass. The delaminated kaolin has an average particle size of 0.5-1.5 μ, contains >=80 wt.% of =20. The precipitated calcium carbonate light has 1-3 μm major axis and 0.1-0.5 μm minor axis, when the crystals are fusiform, while has the average particle size of 0.1-0.5 μm, when they are cubic. |
