PREPARATION OF USED PAPER-CONTAINING RESIN COMPOSITION AND MIXING APPARATUS FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for dispersing uniformly a fine powder of used papers in a resin and a used paper-contg. resin compsn. which does not produce surface roughness and decrease in strength when articles are molded. SOLUTION: A method for preparing a used paper-contg. resin compsn. by mixing a fine powder of used papers and a resin powder consists of a process wherein long fibers in the fine powder of the used papers are removed, a process wherein the fine powder of the used papers and the resin powder are mixed, a process for kneading a mixture obtd. and a process wherein the kneaded resin composn. is granulated. In the mixing process, the fine powder of the used papers and the resin powder are mixed by an agitating blades rotating in the longitudinal direction for a specified time and the mixture obtd. is intermittently discharged from the bottom part of a mixing tank 1 and the discharged mixture is continuously fed into a kneader 6 and while it is kneaded, water is removed from at least two vent holes 4 provided on the kneader 6.
