Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cutting device of a DF coater which can block an accompanied air flow generated on the surface of base paper and repress inconveniences such as the generation of paper dust. SOLUTION: This air cutting device for a DF is constituted of an air cutting part 8 to suck a part of an air flow accompanying base paper B and jet it out from the downstream side to the upstream side of the base paper B so that the jetted air collide with the accompanying air flow A, and a pressure plate 9 installed almost parallel to the lower surface of the base paper B below the air cutting part 8 to prevent the flexure of the base paper B. As a result, the accompanying air flow A generated on the surface of the base paper B can be effectively blocked, and the generation of paper dust caused by contact with base paper B can be repressed.
