COLLAR CONE WITH DISTANCE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bar from taking space when stored, as a conventional safety fence linked by the bar takes much space because of the bulkiness of the bar during storage and the length encompassing a road construction site is limited to the bar length, so that several kinds of bars of different lengths are required, and to enable the safety fence to be constructed to the desired length. SOLUTION: A winding mechanism for a fence tape 1 is enclosed in a collar cone 4 from which the fence tape 1 can be drawn out by the desired distance, and the winding mechanism has a winding drum 1b secured to its winding shaft 1a, with a spring 2 attached to the winding shaft 1a to provide activation in the opposite direction to the direction in which the fence tape 1 is drawn out from the collar cone 4. Further the collar cone 4 is provided with a stopper 3 for stopping rotation of the winding shaft 1a in the activating direction when the fence tape 1 is drawn out from the collar cone 4.
