Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject polyol useful as a raw material for polyurethane resins and further as a raw material for epoxy resins, polyester resins, etc., by subjecting an active hydrogen compound containing a prescribed amount of a specific polyphenylenepolyamine to the addition reaction of an alkylene oxide. SOLUTION: This polyol is obtained by reacting a methylene-crosslinked polyphenylenepolyamine containing a triaminodiphenylmethane with an alkylene oxide in the presence of a basic catalyst at a pressure of 6 kgf/cm at 60-130 deg.C. The methylene-crosslinked polyphenylenepolyamine is obtained by reacting aniline with formaldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst at 5-30 deg.C, adding an aromatic diamine to the reaction product at 15-35 deg.C, subjecting the reaction product to a rearrangement reaction at 40-110 deg.C for 1-6 hr, cooling the reaction product, adding 1-30 wt.% of an alkaline aqueous solution, neutralizing the reaction product at 30-90 deg.C for 30 min to 3 hr, and subsequently removing the salt and the organic layer. The polyol has a hydroxyl value of 17-600 mgKOH/g. |
