THERAPEUTIC AGENT FOR INFECTION WITH HELICOBACTER PYLORI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent having safety and enhanced controlling effects on microorganisms, useful for treating gastric ulcer/duodenal ulcer, preventing relapse of peptic ulcer and occurrence of stomach cancer, by including antyusan, SYAKUYAKU (root of Paeonia albiflora) and KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra). SOLUTION: This agent comprises 1 pt.wt. of antyusan on the market as a crude medicine formulated preparation or a Chinese medicine preparation, 0.1-0.5 pt.wt. of essence powder of SYAKUYAKU (root of Paeonia albiflora) and KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra) with warm water and optionally additives such as excipient, disintegrator, binder, lubricant, antioxidant, coating agent, coloring matter, flavoring agent, plasticizer, etc. In the agent, antyusan is applied several times daily and the dose is 0.5-1 g. The essence powder of SYAKUYAKU (root of Paeonia albiflora) and KANZOU (root of Glycyrrhiza glabra) is applied several times daily and the dose is 25-1,000 mg.
