MANHOLE JOINT AND CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF MANHOLE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole joint and a connection structure of the manhole joint capable of simply and surely connecting an insertion tube and a protection tube in which an optical fiber cable, a communication cable, etc., are inserted to a side wall of a manhole when the optical fiber cable, the communication cable, etc., are embedded in the ground. SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 2a of a manhole joint is inserted into a connection hole 11 drilled on a side wall 1 of a manhole, and a joint material such as cement, mortar, etc., is filled into a clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 2a and a wall face of the connection hole 11 to join them. Moreover, an end part of a protection tube 3 is inserted into an inner cylinder 2b of the manhole joint through a seal ring 4, and one end part of an inner insertion tube 5 inserted into the protection tube 3 is inserted and fixed into a through hole 221 of a support plate 22 mounted on one end part of the inner cylinder 2b.
