PRODUCTION OF ZINC OXIDE ORE BRIQUETTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for hot briquette that relates to the production process for zinc oxide briquettes as a feedstock for zinc blast furnace smelting, particularly relates to production process for zinc oxide briquettes according to the hot briquette process, can produce briquettes of high strength and high lump percentage, further prevents the formation of the deposits in the elevated temperature zone around the periphery of the exhaustion part of the rotary kiln with the productivity increased. SOLUTION: In the production of zinc oxide briquettes by compressing sintered mine exhausted from a rotary kiln, the sintered mine is heated its surfaces in the briquette hopper immediately before the briquetting machine in order to obtain the briquettes of high quality, the surface temperature of the sintered mine is controlled at >=650 deg.C in the briquetting hopper, while sintered mine is controlled at >=950 deg.C at the exhaustion part of the rotary kiln.
