Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic cured article having a high strength, excellent toughness and excellent water resistance, scarcely changing the dimension, when absorbing water, and highly useful as a building material. SOLUTION: This inorganic cured article comprises a matrix containing gypsum dihydrate and ettringite as main components, and reinforcing fibers and, if necessary, a filler which are homogeneously dispersed in the matrix. Therein, the E/N ratio of (E) an X-ray diffraction strength on the (100) surface (d is about 9. 70 angstrom) of the ettringite to (N) an X-ray diffraction strength on the (021) surface (d is about 4. 28 angstrom) of the gypsum dihydrate is 0.03-0.50. The cured article has excellent flexural strengths on a dry time and a water-absorbed time, and scarcely changes the dimension on the absorption of water.
