Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous operation for a long time and to reduce the cost and the storage space of parts for exchange by disposing an adsorbing means which decomposes methane into hydrogen and carbon and adsorbs carbon in such a place in the entrance side of the gas before the reaction that the temp. is not raised to the decomposition temp. and along the direction to the exit of the gas after the reaction. SOLUTION: The oxygen regenerating device is equipped with a first reaction means to react carbon dioxide with hydrogen to decompose into methane and water, a decomposing means to decompose the water into hydrogen and oxygen, a second reaction means to decompose the methane into hydrogen and carbon, and a carbon adsorbing means attached to the second reaction means. The methane 12 produced by the first reaction means is introduced into a reaction tube 2 heated to 1000 to 1500 deg.C by an electric heating furnace 3 of the second reaction means, passed through the packed adsorbing means 1 to the low temp. part where the temp. is lower than the decomposition temp. of the methane, and gradually heated to the decomposition temp. to be decomposed into carbon and hydrogen. The carbon is adsorbed as crystallized so as to cover the fiber surface of a fibrous adsorbing means, while hydrogen 13 is discharged from the reaction tube 2. |
