ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINE FOR ENGRAVING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machine for engraving at a low cost which can work as two electric discharge machines usually and machine by two main spindles simultaneously in the case of big work. SOLUTION: This electric discharge machine for engraving is provided with two main spindles 2a, 2b, machining electric sources 7a, 7b for supplying an independent machining pulse to two electrodes 1a, 1b installed on the main spindles 2a, 2b and a common machining tank 5, and can machine simultaneously by controlling the relative position of two electrodes 1a, 1b and the work independently, and stores plural electrodes and has an automatic electrode changing device 9 for selecting the required electrode out of these electrodes and supplying to the main spindles 2a, 2b and supplies the electrode to one side main spindle 2a (or 2b) from the automatic electrode changing device 9 and further supplies this electrode to another main spindle 2b (or 2a) through a placing stand 10.
