ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT EXTENDING DEVICE FOR AIRCRAFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aircraft accessory equipment extending device for extending accessory equipment such as communication equipment mounted on an aircraft, downward from the lower part of an airframe at the time at use and storing the accessory equipment near the tower part of the airframe at the time of non-use with such constitution as to be low in the whole height, to be fittable directly below an aircraft and to have emergency storage mechanism excellent in durability, reliability and mobility. SOLUTION: An accessory equipment extending device for an aircraft consists of a body 4 mounted with a linear actuator, an extension arm 2 with its tip mounted with accessory equipment for the aircraft and with its base end part connected to the body 4, and an emergency storage means for storing accessory equipment by rotating the body 4 in case of emergency. The linear actuator is arranged inside the body 4 so that a rod is expanded/contracted in a nearly horizontal direction. The extension arm 2 is so constituted as to be rottatable in a fixed direction around the base end part, interlocked with the action of the linear actuator from an extended state of the accessory equipment hanging from the body 4 into a storage state of the extension arm 2 being horizontal. The emergency storage means has mechanism for rotating the body 4 around an axis parallel with the extension arm 2 in the storage state.
