Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the production efficiency of hypohalognous acids and to use stably over a long period by a method in which water containing halogen ions is electrolyzed, and in an apparatus for producing sterilized washing water containing hypohalogenous acids, a ferrite electrode is used as an anode plate. SOLUTION: City water containing halogen ions, after being stored primarily, is supplied to an electrolysis apparatus 1 by a pump to be electrolyzed, and refluxed treated water is stored primarily in a storage tank 2. In the apparatus 1, an electrolytic passage is formed between an anode plate and a cathode plate, the anode plate is made of ferrite, and a titanium plate is used as the cathode plate. A control part 4 set up the amperage stored in a control program in advance in a constant current power source 3, which changes voltage and supplies power to the apparatus 1 while controlling the amperage to flow between the electrode plates, the water is electrolyzed, and hypochlorous acid is produced.
