WASHING METHOD FOR RENTAL DUST CONTROL GOODS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent environmental pollution by adding an antibacterial agent inactivating agent into washing water in a washing machine. SOLUTION: For instance, a mat, etc., to which antibacterial performance is given by processing with a dust collecting agent containing antibacterial component with bactericidal, sterilizing, antiseptic, and fungistatic effect such as halogen based ones, etc., is washed by a washing machine. In the washing process, an inactivating agent for an antibacterial component, for instance sodium thiosulfate, is added in the washing water to inactivate the antibacterial component. The waste water from the washing process is processed by coagulating sedimentation. When unsterilized ion exchange water is added to the supernatant of the processing and a preservation test is carried out, the viable cell number is increased with time. That means no antibacterial component is contained in the waste water. Consequently the environmental pollution by waste water can be prevented.
