PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency synthesizer type receiver capable of reducing power consumption and holding effective receiving performance. SOLUTION: The frequency synthesizer type receiver for setting receiving frequency based on an oscillation output from a phase locked loop(PLL) circuit is constituted so as to supply control voltage for a voltage controlled oscillator 11 in the PLL circuit from external control means 17, 19 outside the PLL circuit when the oscillation frequency of the PLL circuit is stabilized, measures the tuned state of a receiving part 20 in the state, and at the time of detecting a receiving frequency deviation from the measured value, corrects the control voltage of the oscillator 11.
