Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor protector which can finally avoid dangerous conditions even if contacts are fused together. SOLUTION: A bimetal disc 8 having a movable contact 10 and opening and closing a current path by being inverted according to the magnitude of a current and ambient temperature is provided in a hermetic case 2. A fuse terminal 23 which opens and closes the current path by being fused by a predetermined excess current is welded to the side face 5a of the header 5 of the case 2 to thereby connect the bimetal disc 8 in series with the fuse terminal 23. A connecting terminal pin which protrudes from the header 5 and the fuse terminal 23 are covered with an insulating case 26.
