TREATMENT OF EXHAUST GAS CONTAINING OIL COMPONENT SUCH AS SOLVENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recovering, with good heat efficiency, oil components from exhaust gas containing oil components such as solvent discharged from a dryer for dry cleaning, a ventilating fan of a kitchen, and other equipment. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas containing oil components such as solvent discharged from an exhaust gas discharge part 1 of a dryer for dry cleaning, a ventilating fan of a kitchen, and other equipment is led to an exhaust gas pass 5 of a shower column 7 and water is showered into it from a nozzle group 6 to mix the oil components in the exhaust gas with the water and to catch them as a water mixture. The water mixture of the oil components and the water from the shower column 7 is housed in a water storage tank 9. The water 13 in the water storage tank 9 is drawn up by a water supply pump 14 and is fed to the nozzle group 6 of the shower column 7 to allow its circulation. The oil components floated on the surface of the water in the water storage tank 9 is recovered by an oil component recovering means 16.
