Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make ice efficiently while reducing power consumption by flowing down water in liquid film shape and spraying refrigerant to the liquid film flowing downward. SOLUTION: The system for making ice through direct contact of water 53 and refrigerant 51 comprises a pipe for flowing down water 53 in liquid film shape, and a nozzle for spraying refrigerant 51 directly to the pipe. A liquid film flowing downward is formed on the inner wall of the pipe while flowing water over an opening at the upper end of a pipe group and then refrigerant is sprayed to the liquid film flowing downward thus making ice. RC 318 is preferably employed as the refrigerant and the spray nozzle is disposed in the vicinity of the opening at the upper end of the pipe group.
