TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVE OR ITS SALT, ITS PRODUCTION AND MEDICINE CONTAINING THE SAME COMPOUND AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject new compound having excellent antimicrobial actions on fungi including those of the genera Aspergillus and Candida, high safety and further a cyclopropylthio group or a cyclopropylsulfonyl group. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R is H, a lower alkyl or an aralkyl; X and X are each H, a halogen or a halogenoalkyl; (n) is 0-2], e.g. 1-(cyclopropylthio)-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1,1-difluoro-3-(1H-1,2,4- triazol-1-yl)-2-propanol. The compound represented by formula I is obtained by converting a 2-halo-acetophenone derivative represented by formula II into a cyclopropylthio compound, then difluorinating the resultant cyclopropylthio compound, thereby providing a compound represented by formula III and directly triazolemethylating the prepared compound represented by formula III or once epoxymethylenating the compound represented by formula III, affording a compound represented by formula IV and subsequently converting the resultant compound into a triazole.
