Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound having excellent thermal stability and useful as a raw material for chemical vapor-phase evaporation process in a short time at a low cost without using excess diketone by directly reacting an elemental alkaline earth metal with a diketone in the presence of an alcohol containing not more than specific amount of water.
