Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered heat-insulating cup made of paper with a heat- insulating material wound around a side wall wherein the cup is excellent in adhesion as a cylindrical paper body member on a surface of the heat-insulating layer and the side wall and excellent in re-stackability at the time of filling contents in the heat-insulating cup. SOLUTION: A tapered heat-insulating cup 1 comprises a cup body having a paper side wall 10 and a bottom wall 20 wherein a liner paper surface 10a of a heat-insulating material wound around a surface of the side wall 10 and an internal surface 10b of the side wall of the cup body are approximately smooth, the heat-insulating material has a heat-insulating layer 40, and the heat-insulating layer 40 is made of embossed paper having numerous spot protrusions 40b and spot recesses 40a. A plurality of elongated groove-like recesses 50 by embossing are provided on at least the liner paper surface 10a of the heat-insulating material linearly downwardly from a cup mouth 16 toward the bottom wall 20.
