METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT OF ORGANIC SOLVENT-CONTAINING GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an effective treatment by a method wherein a mixed solvent is recovered by separation with an adsorbent having adsorbed solvent in an adsorption tower, and the adsorbent is regenerated by cooling, an adsorbing condition is selected from a plurality of adsorbing methods according to a recovery object to respectively execute different adsorption treatments. SOLUTION: A solvent gas 1 containing an organic solvent is sent to an adsorption tower 4 via a blower 30 after removed of solids of a dust or the like with a filter 2. In the adsorption tower 4, a bag filter wherein an adsorbent layer 5 is provided onto a surface is packed, and an organic solvent in the solvent gas 1 is caught by adsorption thereby. The gas from which the organic solvent has been removed is exhausted as a purified exhaust gas 7. Further, the adsorbent having adsorbed the solvent is separated from a filter 6 surface by air from an air tank 48, and allowed to drop into an adsorbing device 29. Then the solvent is eliminated from the adsorbent with a heating medium 40 supplied herein, and the solvent condensed with a condenser and gas-liquid separator 31 is recovered with a separator 32.
