Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for immobilizing a bacterial strain of Pseudomonas sp CAB-02, which shows an effect of controlling rice diseases, i.e., for pharmaceutical preparation of the bacterium as a microbial agrochemical. SOLUTION: In this method, a bacterial strain of Pseudomonas sp CAB-02 is mixed with a saccharide, e.g. saccharose, fructose, glucose and sorbitol, and then immobilizes the bacterium by vacuum freeze drying or vacuum drying. This method allows stable immobilization of Pseudomonas sp CAB-02 as a bacterial strain recognized to show an effect of controlling damping-off diseases of rice, while keeping a high survival possibility of the bacterium, and can provide a means to efficiently control the 3 major rice damping-off diseases; seedling putrefaction caused by unhulled rice damping-off bacterium, seedling damping-off, and seedling infected with Gibberella fujikuroi.
