REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE AND ITS COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a front controlled device by only turning a remote control device to the desired controlled device and without operating buttons to start the retrieval by monitoring the outputs of a movement detection means and a stoppage detection means and transmitting the control information to the controlled device, when the monitoring result satisfies a prescribed condition. SOLUTION: A movement/stoppage decision part 5 inquires about the accelerating direction and the acceleration which are outputted from a changed variable decision part 4 referring to a prescribed condition and decides whether a user is turned to a remote control device 1 to a device to be controlled 20. A processor 8 transmits and receives the control information on both devices 1 and 20, and the user processes the direction which is inputted from a digitizer 6 and also shows the operation information sent from the device 20 on a display 7. An infrared communication interface 9 performs the transmission/reception of control information, etc., to the device 20 with an instruction given from the processor 8.
