Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the loss of Zn in a ferrite core phase during sintering to obtain a low power loss value, by coating an Mn-Zn based ferrite powder on the surface of a molding of a sintered alloy powder mainly contg. Fe2 O3 , MnO and ZnO and sintering it. SOLUTION: When an Mn-Zn based ferrite core mainly contg. Fe2 O3 , MnO and ZnO is sintered, a molding is put in a sintering furnace, an Mn-Zn based ferrite powder is coated at fixed thickness on the molding, and it is sintered wherein for adjusting the atmosphere, the quantity of a gas injected in the sintering furnace is minimized under the condition of holding an equilibrium O partial pressure. By this method the loss of Zn during sintering is effectively reduced and an Mn-Zn based ferrite core having a low loss characteristic in a high frequency range can be easily manufactured.
