OPERATION DISPLAY DEVICE FOR COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contents of a display from being misrecognized, to easily attach/detach a plug to/from a MODEM and to inexpensively manufacture the operation display device. SOLUTION: The operation display device is constituted of a communication equipment 30 and a plug 34 connected to the equipment 30 in a forward or reverse connection state. Light beams emitted from respective light emitters 42, 44, 46 correspondingly to the operation state of the equipment 30 and having respectively different wavelength values are transmitted to one optical path by an optical path synthesizing member 50 and sent to an optical path separating member 52, the light beams transmitted through the optical path is decomposed in each wavelength and respective light beams are emitted and displayed in the same array order corresponding to the forward or reverse connection state based on the position of a cord 36 drawn out from the plug 34.
