SOLUTION: This color liquid crystal display element which has pixels constituted by providing beltlike electrode groups oppositely and provided with a light shield film 4 and a color filter 3 on a cell internal surface corresponding to the pixel part 2 is provided with a light shield film 6 and a color filter 7 in a frame shape (except a color liquid crystal display element having a color filter arranged at a position overlapping with the seal) inside the seal and outside a display part 1 which makes a display.
