SOLUTION: For a beam generator provided with a filament 22 arranged in a vacuum vessel 21, a current supply terminal 24 supplying current to the filament 22 and supporting the filament 22, a flange 23 supporting the current supply terminal 94 so as to penetrate to the outside of the vacuum vessel 21 via a ceramic insulator 25 and electrodes 29 accelerating thermion (e) generated by supplying filament 22 with current and heating, a cooling mechanism 26 is fixed to the flange 23.
