Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder charging system that charges a cylinder with high-pressure gas at a remarkably greater rate than by existing systems without offering no problems of heat accumulation that the temperature of the cylinder gas contents become remarkably higher than the ambient temperature. SOLUTION: A second section 28 of high-pressure, extremely low-temperature liquid 26 is made to bypass an evaporator (3) and is subjected to direct heat exchange with high-pressure gas into steam, which in turn offers high- temperature, high-pressure gas 31 whose temperature is controlled to a desired one to charge cylinders 21 rapidly. The temperature of this temperature- controlled high-temperature, high-pressure gas 31 is set to increase the ratio of either opening or closing of a bypass valve 6 or to vary the partial volume that forms the second liquid section 28 so that it is maintained within a desired range.
