Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength and simplify the manufacturing process by forming a slipper by using a slipper shaping material manufactured by bonding a copper alloy plate to a flat face of an iron material through a bonding material comprising a brazing filler material such as a silver brazing filler and an insert metal composed of Ni, Ni alloy or the like. SOLUTION: A copper allay plate 14 is bonded to a flat face of an iron material 10 by the heating treatment through a bonding material 12 comprising an alloy such as a silver brazing filler, and an insert metal composed of Ni, an alloy of Al and Mn or Ni, an Al alloy and an Mn alloy, to manufacture the slipper shaping material. The slipper shaping material is integrally shaped into a slipper by a forging process and a cutting process in a state that the copper alloy plate 14 side is used as a sliding face 20 with a plate in order to obtain a desired slipper 18a. Whereby the slipper 18a can be provided with the sufficient strength, and the slipper can be easily manufactured because the thickness of the iron material 10 is not limited as is different from a case of the sintering rolling.
