Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound used as a chemokine receptor antagonist for the treatment or prophylaxis of AIDS, allergic diseases, inflammatory diseases, or the like. SOLUTION: This compound 13 represented by the formula: R -X-A-Y-R [A is an amino acid residue selected from arginine, lysine and ornithine; X is absent or (C=O), (S=S), SO2 , NH-(C=O) or NH-(C=S); Y is absent or O, S or NR ; R and R are each a 12-30C alkyl or the like; R is H, a 1-8C alkyl or the like], e.g. 4-methylpentanoyl-L-arginine-n-octadecyl ester. The compound represented by the formula is obtained by condensing, e.g. a protected amino group in which the N-terminal of a prescribed amino acid is protected with a compound represented by the formula R -Y-H, then removing the N-terminal protecting group of the amino acid, condensing the resultant compound with a compound represented by the formula R -X-Z (Z is a halogen, H or OH) and removing the protecting group in the side chain of the amino acid.
