Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the height of a house constituting a raising seedling chamber. SOLUTION: This raising seedling apparatus is provided with a suspension transporting apparatus 19 for transferring a cart 8 holding a plurality of raising seedling boxes 1 in stacked state into the introducing part of a raising seedling chamber 10 and furnished with a means for lifting and lowering the cart 8. A plurality of lower-stage rail pairs 12 movably supporting a plurality of carts 8 in a row are parallelly arranged in the raising seedling chamber 10. A stand 14 is placed in a manner to form a working path overstriding a box-holding cart 8 on the alternately positioned lower stage rail pairs 12 and opening upward between the adjacent rail pairs. An upper stage rail pairs 15 for movably supporting a plurality of carts 8 in a row are attached to and supported on these stands 14.
