METHOD FOR RESTORING FILE IN ELECTRONIC COMPUTER SYSTEM HAVING DUPLICATED HARD DISKS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file restoring method capable of shortening a file copying time by a maintenance program at the time of occurrence of a fault in a hard disk. SOLUTION: A file state table consisting of the information of two hard disk states corresponding to two hard disks 1, 2 and the information of file states for the number of files to be duplicated 15 stored in a non-volatile storage device 4, when a fault occurs in either one of the two hard disks 1, 2 and after the hard disk generating the fault is replaced, at the system initial processing of an electronic computer system, restoring processing based on the file state table stored in the device 4 is started based on the hard disk state information stored in the device 4 and the normal processing of the system is started.
