Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device with a simple structure which can evenly and effectively cool a cylinder head without influencing quality of a product. SOLUTION: In this device, a straight tubular cooling pipe 5 is inserted into an insertion hole 4 formed on a cylinder head 1 from the outside. Its leading end is opened to a specified position in the vicinity of a valve seat. A plug 11 is arranged for blocking an outer end of the cooling pipe 5. A cooling water passage lead to the insertion hole 4 is arranged on the cylinder head 1. An opening 15 superposed on the cooling water passage is formed on the cooling pipe 5. It is thus possible to inject and supply cooling water to the portion in the vicinity of the valve seat of the cylinder head 1 from the leading end of the cooling pipe 5.
