SOLUTION: In a flange joint section wherein flange sections A are butted to each other and a plurality of bolts for jointing the flange sections A are arranged in parallel with each other, a bolt cutting device for cutting bolts B is installed in a cutting device body 1 provided with a disk-shaped cutting blade 11 and a drive unit 12 for rotationally driving the cutting blade 11, and an arm 2 is extendedly provided in the cutting device body 1, and a fixing section 4 to be fixed to the flange joint section is formed in the arm 2, and a moving section 8 is provided to freely make the cutting blade 11 approach to and separate from the bolt B along the space between the butt face A1 of the flange joint section A.
