Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking vessel, in which steam generated in a cooking process by means of a high-frequency cooking range does not affect food, a lid body can be quickly and surely installed to a vessel main body, and food can be cooked with varied heating degrees partially. SOLUTION: A cooking vessel used for cooking by means of a high-frequency cooking range is constructed of a vessel main body 1 storing food and a lid body 5 covering the upper face of the vessel main body 1. The vessel main body 1 is constructed of a rectangular body 2 whose four corners are formed into circular arcs 3 on the same circle, while the inner circumferential face of the lid body 5 is formed into a circle approximately equal to that formed of the circular arcs 3 of the four corners in the vessel main body 1, and at least a part of the lid body 5 shields high-frequency waves.
