SOLUTION: In this method, helium 20 is pressure-fed to a helium plenum 18 formed between an inner-tube tube plate 16 connected to each inner tube 13a and an outer-tube tube plate 17 connected to each outer tube 13b in a double heat exchanger tube 13 forming a helical coil inside a body drum and connected to a feed water inlet 11 and a steam outlet 9. Sound collector 40 is inserted in regular order into the inner tubes 13a and blowing sound of helium from the damaged double heat exchanger tube 13 is detected by the sound collector 40 to identify the damaged double heat exchanger tube 13. |
