Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature preservation switch from being turned on or off and to reduce the unneeded use of a combustion gas or water by shifting to a temperature preservation operation when a flow rate that is detected by a flow-rate sensor within a prescribed amount of time for controlling a reheating means for constantly maintaining the temperature of hot water in a bath is within a specific value. SOLUTION: When the passage of water within a channel cannot be detected by a flow-rate sensor 31 while the amount of and the temperature of hot water in a bath tub 1 are maintained at a set value, a main gas valve 23 and a gas proportional valve 24 are closed and a gas burner 21a is extinguished, thus reducing the temperature of preserved water in the channel. Then, a state is reached, where the passage of water in the channel cannot be detected while the temperature of the hot water in the bath tub 1 is maintained at a set temperature by a reheating means, a temperature preservation operation is performed. The temperature preservation operation intermittently ignites the gas burner 21a for a certain amount of time each time for increasing the temperature of the preserved water when a detection temperature by temperature sensors 32-34 is decreased to a reheating temperature. However, in this case, the ignition time of the gas burner 21a is set to the extent that temperature increases by a specific amount.
