WHEEL FOR MOVING TRIPOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a light-weight and compact wheel for moving a tripod and facilitate the transportation work at the time of travel between studios and outdoor relay broadcast by providing a device to be mounted on and dismounted from a leg end part of the tripod on a substrate on which the wheel is supported in the wheel provided on the tripod on which a TV camera is mounted and which is used for photographing. SOLUTION: A mounting and dismounting device 2 on a leg end part of a tripod is fixed on a substrate 1 and a castor 3 is attached thereto. This castor 3 has a rotary shaft 4 and a turning shaft 5 and has a stopper mechanism locking each of them. Moreover, the mounting and dismounting device 2 consists of a frame 6, a receive member 7 of the leg end part fixed on the frame 6, a screw bar 8 screw-fitted in the frame 6, and a clamp piece 9 movable by the screw bar 8. When the tripod is moved, a ground contact member of the leg end part of the tripod is inserted between the receive member 7 of the mounting and dismounting device 2 and the clamp piece 9, a bottom part thereof is knocked against the receive member 7, the screw bar 8 is operated by a knob, and the clamp piece 9 is pushed in between a projection part of the ground contact member and a leg end to fix it.
