HIP WATER STOP TECHNIQUE AND HIP WATER STOP MATERIAL

Hip water stop materials 10 to which the lower edges of both higher layers 12, 14 extend are arranged at both sides of the supporting members 34 in such a manner that the higher sides of both layers 12, 14 are directed upward of a roof, the rubber foam layer 14 is directed outward and the extensions are inserted between the adjacent roof tiles 28 and fixed to the roof tiles 28. The ridge tiles 32 are arranged with the backs in contact with the respective water stop materials 10 to perform water stop of the hip 30 with the water stop materials 10.
