Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuyere for fitting a porous plug advantageous in both of erosion resistance and heat saplling resistance. SOLUTION: In the tuyere 10 for fitting the porous plug which is embedded in a refractory wall of a vessel for storing molten metal and provided with a holding hole 21 for holding and fitting the porous plug for blowing gas into the molten metal, at least the surface part thereof immersed into the molten metal is constituted with a refractory composed of the composition containing 5-90 wt.% alumina, 0.5-90 wt.% magnesia and 0.5-50 wt.% zirconia.
