Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dislocation prosthesis having an effective and simple mechanism for integrally joining and securing a dislocating outer shell element to a liner element. SOLUTION: In a dislocation prosthesis having an outer shell element 12 which can be transplanted into a bone and a liner element 14 which can be matched with the outer shell element 12, the outer shell element 12 has a generally projecting bone engagement outer surface part and a generally recessed inner surface part. Grooves are formed in the inner surface part of the outer shell element 12 and extend to at least a part of the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell element 12. The liner element 14 has a recessed inner surface part and a projecting outer surface part being complementary to the inner surface part of the outer shell element 12 and having a shape which can be matched therein. Further, one or more deformable projecting surface configuration parts are formed on the outer surface part of a liner and selectively engaged in the grooves in the outer shell element 12. The liner can be joined integrally with the outer shell element 12 by engaging its projecting surface configuration parts into the grooves by a press fit. |
